The Web Community of Practice meeting for May will be held this Wednesday (5/18) from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 003 of Skillman Library. We’ll be talking about the College’s calendar of events, including best practices for submitting events, leveraging the category and tag system, new tools such as “Add to Zimbra”, social media sharing, and LafSync event integration.
We’ll also be delving into Pinboard, one of our favorite WordPress themes available on sites.lafayette.edu, and give an an update on Phase 2 of the web redesign project. Lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Web Community of Practice meetings will continue throughout the summer. Our June meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 15 and the topic will be “Writing for the Web”.
