The Importance of Website Maintenance and Accessibility

Everyone wants a website that is functional, easy to navigate, and informative. While creating relevant and interesting content for your users is important, ensuring that your site is usable and accessible is equally important. Starting in March 2020, the Web Content Management Team will be rolling out access to Siteimprove for Forge Primary Administrators. Siteimprove is a tool that provides automated Quality Assurance and Accessibility checks of all College websites hosted on forge.lafayette.edu. The March Web Community of Practice will focus on the details of the rollout and along with a high level overview of the tool itself. Training will be offered on a regular basis to guide Forge Primary Administrators in utilizing Siteimprove to its full potential.
